Say It In Photographs: Sodium valproate versus fluvoxamine

Here’s the thing I find really funny: my sodium valproate medication for my epilepsy is twice the size of my fluvoxamine tablets and is oblong in shape. Fluvoxamine tablets are tiny white pills, film coated pretty much the same way as the SV.

Yet I can swallow the SV with just one gulp of water but spent an entire mug of water with one tiny fluvoxamine tablet with several initial unsuccessful attempts. I found out fluvoxamine is actually quite bitter. But at least it doesn’t disintegrate in the mouth completely like Anarex paracetamol. 😷

I consumed a few grapes after finally getting today’s fluvoxamine down.
